Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Flat Rate Grievances, we are dedicated to providing expert property tax grievance services. Please review our refund and cancellation policy below:

1. Upfront Fee Policy

Our service requires a flat upfront fee, which covers the full process of preparing and filing your property tax grievance.
This fee is non-refundable once work has begun, as it accounts for administrative costs, research, and filing expenses.

2. Cancellation Policy

Before Work Begins: You may cancel and receive a full refund if you request cancellation before we have officially filed your grievance.
After Work Has Started: Once your grievance has been filed, the upfront fee is non-refundable, as the service has been completed on your behalf.

3. Refund Policy

Unsuccessful Grievance: If your grievance does not result in a property tax reduction of over $500 in savings, the upfront fee can be refunded if you prefer, or we can file a grievance for you for the next available tax year.

Billing Disputes: If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 30 days of payment, and we will review your request promptly.

Flat Rate Grievances Text Messaging Campaign

 1. Program Description

Our messaging program provides updates, notifications, and customer service information related to Flat Rate Grievances services via SMS.

2. Canceling the SMS Service

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. Assistance

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at (516) 494-4446.

4. Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Message and Data Rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive periodic updates and notifications. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
